Wasgamuwa is a one of Natural Park in Sri Lanka. It is located 225 Kilometers away from Colombo in Central Province and North Central Province. Wasgamuwa park is famous for it rich variety of wildlife varying from elephants, peacocks, deer’s, sloth bears, wild boars and buffalo. More than 140 bird species recorded from the park. Wasgamuwa park is made up of the jungle, riverbed, lakes and pasture.
